32nd Annual SEAD Democrats Picnic (Turn Pennsylvania Blue Again) (Volunteer Activity or Meeting)

Join your friends at SEAD for the unofficial kick off event for the Fall campaign. The SEAD Picnic is free just bring a covered dish in a disposable container. Last year hundreds of people attended this free picnic. There will be food and entertainment for the whole family. SEAD will provide the chicken, pop, water, beer donated by State Senator Fontana, paper products and entertainment. Including Sara Sachs Psychic Medium Program and Music Provided by DJ Bob Scullion, pony rides, 50/50, Basket Auction and Surprises!

SEAD was founded 32 years ago as the "South End Active Democrats", mostly locaed in the South Pittsburgh with about 50 members. Since then we have grown to over 450 members from all over Allegheny County. Our members include elected officials, candidates, campaign staffers, Democratic Committee, Community activitss and Active Democrats like you  who like to make a difference.

The SEAD Picnic is considered by many as one of the biggest and best picnics in the state. Past Attendees have included Governor Wolf, Katie McGinty a host of State Wide Candidates. In light of the important Presidential Election in 2020 and the upcoming State Wide Judicial Campaigns, this year's theme is "Turn Pennsylvania Blue Again". We will feature traditional Pennsylvania foods, Music from Pennsylvania's favorites. and Don't forget to wear Blue.

SEAD is looking for Candidate, Committee and business sponsors. There is a sponsorship level for every budget and volunteers are always welcomed and appreciated. It is a great way to get your name out if you are a candidate or future candidate.
